We are a small, local, family-owned business with deep ties to the heavy-duty trucking community. What started right here in 1975 as Whitey Motor Company, and later grew as Taylor Truck Equipment, continues today under our ownership as E & J Equipment. We are proud to be the third stewards of this local legacy, delivering the same quality metal fabrication, body repair, and Bibeau® equipment from the very same shop floor.

    • Heavy-Duty Construction: Upgraded with thicker AR450 steel—featuring 1/4-inch floors and doors—the BMT series maximizes durability. It utilizes the same innovative smooth sides and single-panel door design to eliminate rigid vertical posts and central reinforcements. This gives the body superior impact resistance and the flexibility to absorb massive amounts of energy without denting, puncturing, or deforming.

  • The EL series, built entirely from tough AR450 steel, is tailored for you. This series combines the structural benefits of a curved, elliptical shell with high-grade steel to effectively balance weight and ruggedness for demanding applications.

    • Capacity & Dimensions: The EL series offers lengths from 13 to 22 feet and capacities ranging from 9.4 to 31.2 cubic yards. It features customizable side heights (36" to 60") and door heights (42" to 66"), accommodating 30t to 50t cylinder sockets.

    • Optimized Elliptical Construction: Available in two distinct models to match your specific needs:

      • EL-188: Features a 3/16-inch AR450 steel shell across the sides, floor, and door. It is perfectly engineered to maximize your payload-to-resistance ratio.

      • EL-250: Upgraded with thicker 1/4-inch AR450 steel on the sides, floor, and door. This construction considerably increases the body's capacity to withstand severe wear and heavy abuse.
